Update

NOTE

You can create a backup of your existing configuration with the backup feature of Dotfiles Installer.

Update with the Dotfiles Installer

If you have installed the Dotfiles with the Dotfiles Installer, just open the Dotfiles Installer and click on the Refresh Icon to start the update.

The Dotfiles Installer will offer to create a backup, to restore your existing settings and to protect your own customization (if needed).

RESTORE AND PROTECT

Every version of the ML4W Dotfiles is shipped with new features and updated configuration files. To make sure that the update generates no sideeffects, please reduce the amount of restored files to a minimum.
